Amateur Rugby League:

New date for BARLA Lancashire Cup final between Halton Simms Cross and Rylands Sharks at Tyldesley RUFC

HALTON Simms Cross’ BARLA Lancashire Cup final against Rylands has been rearranged for Monday, December 28 (1.30pm) at Tyldesley RUFC.

(I assume the above is still correct)

Just took my dog for a walk across the Tyldelsey pitch. Its about 4 inches under snow, 3 of that frozen solid, and the ground is solid. Its now raining as well. Is Leigh Easts 3g pitch or the Leigh Sports Village an option Cheesy Cheesy

Weathers much better, its warm and raining. The chairman of Leigh East ahs offered the 3g pitch at http://www.totalrl.com/index.php?showtopic=194911&st=0&gopid=1926175&#entry1926175. Any chance that NWC would consider that?

The Lancashire Cup Final is OFF due to a frozen pitch.

It is looking like it will now be played next Sunday 3rd Jan. Altough this is still to be confirmed by the Lancs. commitee, who are holding a meeting this afternoon.

Think it was this morning, despite all the rain in Widnes parts of the bowling green are still frozen this morning, believe the weather there has been worse than here.

10.30 this morning. Got a phone call from Staggy at 11am, to say the pitch is still very frozen, as are all the surrounding roads around the ground.
