With the 3 people behind the club all Widnes fans the name was a no brainer.

We have started up a club in the Pendle area with hopes of attracting players from Burnley (and anywhere else). We have found a local RU club that want us for a peppercorn rent and the players at the club are keen to play.

Having been involved in starting clubs before I am airing on the side of caution but it does look good for playing numbers. We are entering the Summer Merit League this year.

We have no connection with the Darwen based East Lancashire set up who are taking a one year break and there is no crossover with players.

Won again today so thats 4 from 4 in the Merit League. We go to Ashton next week so a huge challenge there.

Should make the play offs now.

Lost today against Ashton 22 12 but they put Prem NWC and shaun Ainscoughs brother from Nat Conf in so hardly the idea. Think they were sore after wqe did them 38 16 last week. Where are you based at Uni are you the lad at Lancaster?

Won today 44 - 24 so that means a top 2 finish and a home play off game.
