Oz I don't want to argue with you.
But you keep going about facts.
Where are your facts that this is the genuine reason as to why Widnes were not admitted.
The only fact you have is that Mr Lewis said so.
Can't you envisage the fact he said what he said was because the uproar in the British media & the RL fratenity over the decision to exclude Widnes.
Was in fact merely a statement to get them off his back.
You didn't see him on NorthWest tonight at the time when he was being grilled by Gordon Burns. The man was clearly rattled and spoke like a true politition you know side stepping the issue at every opportutnity.
Until eventually had enough and just blurted out OK, OK it was because of the administration.

So until all the bids are made public & the public see what each club had put in their bids.
There are no facts for you to base your arguements on, apart from a statement made by a man who was clearly under pressure to give some answers to a very perplexed & obviously irate media.

I'm not sure where all this "conspiracy theory" stuff comes from.  People are making the case for Widnes' inclusion at the next decision process and others are writing that case off automatically because it's made by Widnes fans. People on here are worse than the RFL - not even they'll write off SOCs application on it being biased because it comes from the club owner!

Turkeys don't vote for Christmas. SL was never going to vote for a reduction!

I can see two Championship teams going up if only to make the RFL look as if they are taking "licensing" seriously by dumping Salford and either Wakefield or Crusaders. But oddly, one team I think is beginning to look rather vulnerable is Harlequins.

Yes but there are lots of people who are putting forward the case for us to be accepted in the next application. Those cases are being written off by some on here on the basis that we're Widnes fans and thus are blindly biased. As I say if the RFL apply the same logic then they will throw SOCs application out straightaway on the basis of bias with him being the owner of Widnes RLFC (and presumably every other club will be rejected on the same basis).
