Wow, you really are a sensitive soul to bite so easily..
As you said on the TKL thread about my comments about him.
stemcp was being ignorant & disrespectful.
If you go to the thread on Chances of Play tonight, he made another snide remark.
Which didn't go down to well with other members.
I'm surprised at condoning these sort of comments after the way you lambasted me for my comments on TKL.
It just shows that you have those double standards that I commented about on that thread.
I did my little bit of investigating to give some our longer travellers a little bit more info because the official site tends to be slow with its information.
So I was only trying to do a few people a favour by giving them some up to date information.
Its nothing to do with me being touchy he was insulting me for trying to be helpful, which was out of order.

Rickp

There are players you can criticise and you may get away with it.

There are players you criticise at your peril.

You criticise TKL at your peril.

Don't claim the opion rule - it sometimes doesn't work.

I never lambasted you. I disagreed with your opinion and was critical of the way you put it across. How on earth does this equate to double standards?Huh

Is it not beyond the realms of possibilty that i could disagree with you on one subject and agree with you on another?

Seriously, just think about what you just wrote. It does not make sense.

After stempc snide remarks to my post about the chances of play on Tuesday.
Your coments concurred with his & he WAS being ignorant & disrespectful towards me for trying to be helpful to other supporters who travell quite a distance.
You called me disrespectful to TKL because I said he wasn't doing it for me ATM. Well stemcps' attitude towards my chances of play thread was in the in the same vane & you backed him up. You didn't back the person who was trying to do some good.
Thats were the double standard comes in.

Come on RickP lighten up a bit.You are taking this forum far too seriously. If someone responds to your post with sarcasm then either respond with a clever and witty retort of your own or just ignore. So in your case it would be ignore. Grin
Just look at some of these comments-'Getting down pitchside','Posting the verdict of your findings a 3 pm','My little bit  of investigating'
You must admit that does come across as a bit pompous and self important.Hardly surprising you got one or two sarcastic replies.Chill out.

But please continue to be helpful to us "long - distancers". We appreciate what you are doing even if others don't.

As suggested by Glynn, why not just ignore stempc and TheGoldenBoot - they will get fed up if you don't bite.

Yeah but the internationals dont play for Judes either. I thought the point the guy from Judes was making was that the Judes club was responsible for bringing thorugh 5 current internationals while Widnes haven't brought through any - this is false as we brought Myler through.

Depends what you call 'bringing someone through'.  We took him to a certain stage and then limited him to the odd subs appearance thanks to a coach who was scared of playing the youngsters.  Salford gave him the chance he richly deserved.  Having said that I always think of him as one of ours.
