widnes player statue.who would you choose? i would go for kurt sorenson.

played for us 1984 to 1993.he played in 252 games and captained the side that won the championship and the 1989 World Club Challenge.still loved by the fans.what a guy.top man.

  Look at the pic its iconic everyone at our club has seen it somewhere and it says it all the home grown lads picking up there 2nd of many challenge cup wins , that pic with the captain cup in hand on his team mates shoulders pure class .

To Widnes what Busby is to Man Utd. He set the ball rolling and the rest is history. Without him you can forget Doug Laughton, Mills, Adams.

I reckon he'd be a sculptors dream. If I win the lottery I will put it on the list.
