I would go for a Mural depicting a number of our great players or a statue of several of our great players.
Like the second world war photo of the Five Americans raisning the American Flag over Iwajema which they made into a statue.
Nat Silcock, Tommy McCue, Vince Karalius, Frank Myler, Doug Laughton hositing a Widnes Flag.
A Statue of one player or Manager has been done before Moore, Dean, Busby, Cunningham.

Ged Smith is the smallest player I remember.

Ged would tower over Tommy McCue and Andy Gregory.

Not a bad idea. Even with Tommy Shannon and Harry Millington in the background!

One record that will never be equalled is Keith Elwell's 587 appearances.

I doubt Mal Aspey's try record will ever be equalled.

Impossible question to answer.

Vinty for me - he may have had his best club years as a player at St Helens, but he still gave his all for Widnes and was an outstanding coach who transformed our club. He and his family have also been employers in the town for many years.

Maybe a all time team I feel a poll coming on.

Good idea for a poll, Saints had a poll and the fans chose Cunningham.

From my time watching Widnes 1986-2010 it would be Kurt, superb captain, good pic of him in the social club with the Word Club Championship already.

Going back before that I guess the image you see most is of Vinty with the cup, never seen him play but read lots of good stuff. Also a Widnes lad, like Cunningham is a Saints local which I think adds a little something extra.

Doug Laughton is also a good shout as he was not only an international player but also the finest coach we have had in my opinion winning back to back titles and the world club championship. Amazing when you consider Wigan were full time and had the likes of Hanley, Gregory and Edwards.

Final one, in terms of spirit and determination and Widnes through and through how about David and Paul Hulme?

Slightly off topic, I had the misfortune of walking passed the Bevan staue and wall last night. Two things came to my mind straight away. How easy it would be for some spritely youth to shimmy up and dress Mr Bevan in a Widnes shirt and scarf.

And the second thought was something I just had to do. Lets just say the 'Milners Wires till they die' got a bit wet!!!  Grin

A mural of all of the Hall of Fame members would be interesting, cheaper than a single statue and could be easily updated to include anybody else inducted into the HoF
