My guess is that there are plenty of blokes around Widnes who made up the numbers in the 'A' team as A N Other a few times in the 70s/80s who now tell their kids/grandkids that they were a key part of the Cup Kings era  Grin

I can remember Alan McCurrie sending round the pubs for players to play.
