I don't attend every home game or most away games, but there's no way I'd play Scott Yates before James Ford.

Cheers
Jon

Totally agree. I didn't specifically watch Yates on Saturday, but if I was asked to sum up his performance, I would say he came on, he dropped a bomb, they scored and he went off again. I admire any player who plays the game, but Yates catching is getting a beyond a joke now.

I seem to remember him making a certain try saving tackle on Goulding in the first half.

As for the bomb.. he seemed to take the catch well and then spilled it when the Wigan tackler came in and he was definately woozy getting up suggesting a shot to the head. That's certainly the area the physio was attending to also.

He didn't take the catch well at all, he got in an awkward position with his feet and it went right through his hands. He was then pretty much on the ground when he was hit. Don't want to turn this in to another debacle of a thread, but defending him for the sake of it is pointless.

He held up Gleeson with a good tackle in the right hand corner in the first half.
