Easy to say when he has been signed by another club, but if this had happened 2 weeks ago, i would have said Jarrod Sammut. We need a real play maker and line breaker. I think Hulme is a great prospect, but does he need some back up.

If we dont get a replacement who is at least in the same class as some of the best in the division, we have a serious problem on our hands, just at a time when our performance on the field and off is going to come under scrutiny from Red Hall.

Scrum Half is WAY too important a position to put in the hands of past-it players, young kids or under-achievers (which is what Cullen effectively calls Webster if you read between the lines in the Weekly News - "leading us round the field, or not as the case may be", "rugby league suicide" etc etc).

i admit danny is a good player and a brilliant prospect for the future, but getting rid of webster and not replacing him with someone even better is a step back.
