I'm not surprised, there have been strong rumours since the beginning of the season that they were paying silly money to their players and were on the brink of going belly up.

I'd be surprised if they didnt go into Admin now if these reports are true  Shocked

The chairman has left and stopped funding the club. They'd done well managing the club within its means for the last few seasons, and the chairman decided he fancied a bit of time in the spotlight by the sounds of things, and unfortunately it's gone pear shaped.

How any of the teams in that league who get 300/400 fans in survive is beyond me.

Fact is it is obvious they have put together a side this year that they can no where near afford.

People say Crompton has done a superb job there. Well hes bought the better players in the division so he will win more games.

Problem is on crowds of less 300, if there is no money man constantly pumping money in then it cant work

Reject?

By that I presume you mean someone that turned down the very poor offer the club gave him, while wanting him to train five nights a week?

I just looked at the Blackpool site to check the playing stats.
The last ones I could find were dated 15th May. Johnny Leather didn't seem to be their main kicker and had kicked 15 goals in 11 games.

Come on, tell us - we won't spread the name without your agreement.  Wink  Honest...
