I have an enormous Saint Georges cross flag that is up for grabs, I clearly dont need it now, if somebody can put it to some use to bring down costs you are welcome to it, would be ideal if you were able to have it printed onto....I think its 9ft X 6ft!

Plenty of England flags knocking around at the mo' -
!
True mon ami! Although on a serious note, nothing looks more dull and generic than a St george flag with 'Leigh/Wigan/Widnes/St helens' etc stitched on front. Now, Union jacks, that is a different matter!

Looks top James worth getting a price for it though as I know when looked at them in the past 1 / 2 add on's like logo's can't half hike the price!
There is actually loads of big flags about there just very rarely brought! Be ideal if could leave some at teh stadium and just have them brought out to be stuck up on match days! Let's face it when we go away not as if you can hang them anywhere!
Aye, I like James' effort also. Can't see it being that pricey either, that isn't the most complexed of logo's. Though, sorry to play devil's advocate I'd change the text at the top, personally. But good effort lad, wouldn't it be grand if we turned out with a shed load of flags or home made banners for the final? I am thinking of doing a flg for the occasion, not decided on anything, as of yet. BTW there is that Textiles stall on the market, which do a white material by the metre. i think it is roughly about £2.50 a metre. Can of black spray paint about foru quid, there you go!

Here is my idea.
Not sure on some of the wording yet though. Might change 'history' for 'passion', what you think?

Mate, if/when you get that done, I will make sure you never have to buy another drink in this town again. In the words of a Widnes great: 'You just can't teach it'

If the costs of creating these flags are are too much for one person, then could we send donations to someone who will take responsibility for getting them done.? I would love to see the Tony Myler flag at grounds across rugby league land. I would be proud to make a contribution towards it. I know something like this has to be done on trust, but some of us are too old to be buying flags for ourselves, but I would see this as buying a flag for our club and would happily trust somebody to be its custodian/guardian.
Anybody else in? PM me if you would like to discuss a contribution.

I had a play in Microsoft Publisher and came up with the Myler one. I will email Charlie with a request for a quotation and see what he comes back with.

Nice design, the Myler one. I would have thought it would have to be at least 20ft high though, to have the same sort of impact that those ones do at Anfield.

Also, I always liked that other quote (i believe it was Myler) that goes something like "When we beat them, they call us Scouse B***ards. When they beat us, they call us WORLD CHAMPIONS"
Always thought it would be a good flag.

That was my signature up until a couple of weeks ago - glad you noticed it!
Right, the email has gone. I'd imagine he will recommend the 15ft one, not sure if they do a 20ft one but I've asked for a range of sizes as appropriate. Any interest for chipping in send me a PM.

Both of those flag ideas look spot on
Newsboy I would be willing to contribute if you got enough people on board. Maybe VIQI will donate or help towards these or if you ask a certain Stevie O'Conner
