The Saints report fails to mention that the body language of their players at the final whistle looked as if they had lost a trophy!!!!!

We also had Jack Owen, the u16s fullback, on the wing.  Great, well organised team.  Both Grant Gore and Danny Craven, the half back pairing have a great understanding and a great deal of talent.

One brilliant moment was the Saints big prop (I think) forward running at Gore to beast him.  He was picked up one on one, via a shoulder in his middle and driven backwards.  Great stuff!

Interesting words from PC there. Perhaps the biggest clue yet as to what the club believes the RFL are focused on as far as the licenscing procedure is concerned.

Its one of the two reasons we failed last time so they cannot fail us on it now.

Has anyone any news on how Jack Smith is doing?? after what looked like a nasty injury, feel sorry for him as he had only just recovered from another injury and is a massive plus to the Widnes pack.

Good call!  With all the knee injuries about atm it looked as if he had fallen foul of the bogey man.  He was playing really well too.

The state of some of the lads arms and legs after the game on Saturday are pretty horrendous. They look like they have been dragged along a gravel track . Thank god the rain has come before Saturdays game to ease the ground ( and the hardness of the ground led to Saints first jammy try  Wink. Pity some of these games cant be played as a curtain raiser .Then at least if the weather picks up again the nice lush covering of grass could help reduce the risk of serious injury. And it might put another 200 on the gate LOL Cheesy

It would be nice to see some video footage similar to the Hull KR game Stu put on You Tube a few weeks ago.
