A lot of ground work as been done on Salfords site ( loads of wagons and diggers etc clearing it), they are further ahead than the rest of em......go past the site most days.
They did this the last time though - something will definetly be built on that site and for that it needs to be cleared and levelled etc.
Salford may well build their ground on that site but we need building work to actually start before we can give it credance.
Your excellent ground and our excellent ground were built fairly close to the old grounds (in our case in exactly the same place) and fairly close the town centre's.
All the succesfull new grounds Ours, Yours ,Huddersfield, Wigan, Hull , Warrington have been built within waliking distance of the town centres / old grounds. Saints plan the same.
Salford, Cas, Wakefield are proposing out of town venues near Motorway Junctions.
Salford have a site , I'm not sure how easy Salford fans will be able to get there easily without their own transport.
It's like York they would be better at Bootham Crescent than out at the ring road.
The siting of a new ground is as important as the Stadium itself I reamain to be convinced that these out of town venues will succeed.
