Looks like we have three top half-back prospects in Gilmour, Craven and Hulme.

without lawton and craven today arguably 2 of the best players in the side they still got an excellent win. some superb trys and although the defence wasnt as good as in previous games they deserved the victory

Because a number of their Under 18s played for their Under 20s against Wakefield on Wednesday night, and RFL rules say you can't play for both teams within five days.

A few lapses in defence/discipline at times but as has been said some excellent attacking play. Alex Brown's try was the pick of the bunch, excellent long range effort. I thought Jack Owens was the standout player at fullback. Alex Gerrard was the pick of a solid pack of forwards.

What a result again.Hopefully we can keep this up on the away fixtures aswell.I could not go today but from reports jack owens,Grant Gore,Gilmore,Gerrard and Walsh stood out.I believe jack owens, butterworth and gilmore are from the u16s so all looking good.RFL have to look up at us now. Wink

John Rigby also started today at right centre and he is an Under 16 from the Warrington scholarship. Normally a back rower but played well today on debut holding up a Rovers player over the line and making the break that led to Grant Gore's try. In total there were 4 Under 16's in the starting line up today.

Well that is a achievement mate.Keep these four, and we will have a good u18s for a few yrs.Be good if our reserves can move up the table, and the first team to the grand final. Then i be really confident of a franchise next year. Wink

IMO Craven is one of the better players, but lawton still has a long way to go to be given that title..... Was told at the hkr match yesterday that lawton had been dropped for not being good enough against leeds.
I watched the leeds match and there were a few times that he could of passed and he went on his own and never scored, yet had he passed we would have definately scored.
Have noticed this at a few games..

Dont get me wrong, he has talent, but in my opinion is a bit hit and miss and isnt one of the better players at the moment...

What makes him one of your top players dlm ??
