Just back from the Chris Percival day - thank you to all who made the day possible - in particular Cheshire Plumbing supplies who sponsored the game, also Paul Harris of  Northwich fireplaces, St Maries for the use of their club and their invaluable help in planning and organising the day

‘Coulton’ for the test cricket tickets

Bobby Goulding for his invaluable help in Mc'ing in his own inimitable way, Thanks also to Richard Agar and Neil Kelly - who obviously enjoyed their day back in Widnes. Not surprising as the generous Widnesians have helped raise the sum of £ 4315.50 and a further £300 to come. Thanks to those who were so generous !

Brilliant outcome.

I thought it was great that so many people turned out to watch the game and support chris.

Absolutely awesome effort. I really hope this gives the Percival's a small boost in what must be a really demanding time on their family. It is the very least the lad deserves after all he has done for professional and amatuer rugby league in Widnes.

Rugby League truly is a family game.

And for the record the amateurs won A Question of Sport against the ex-pro's as well.  Grin

Would like to say a big thank you to Bald Rick as he has contacted me to offer a prize he has won at work to add to the CP fund, this is a really generous addition of £50
