Wakefield are a complete joke off the pitch.

When they first went into Super League they played some games at Barnsley, I think to get the ground up to scratch and yet here we are 10 years later and they are still no further down the line.

What do they offer to the game at the top level?

I must agree with you, Wakefield, it would seem, do not want to play SL rugby as the seem intent on giving the RFL every excuse to make them the sacrificial club. I think if a choice had to be made between Wakey and Cas, most RL fans seem to prefer Cas, but who is to say either are safe.

It says in the Sky article "It was also stated by the RFL that any team plannning on moving stadium in order to strenghthen their application must guarantee that work would be finished in time for the 2012 campaign."  Well given all the false promises in the past from Salford, Cas, and Wakey the RFL should have specified the date when SL licences will be granted which I think is September 2011 for completion of the stadiums.  In other words if a stadium is not ready by then it should not be taken into account in the licensing process.

Leigh had their stadium last time didnt they, but because they hadnt played in it the rfl didnt take it into account (or something along those lines). Others should be told the same  Roll Eyes

Do I read from the article that all 3 teams will be kicked out if their stadia are not ready for 2012 season?
Also, where does this leave Stains?
