I haven't heard this but there are strong rumours witihin the RU community that the WFU wants to set up a North Wales region - Scarlets currently cover it, but actually never play up north any more. It could well be two separate rumours have got inter-mingled.

Having said that, the Noble rumours would suggest there is no future for the Crusaders at Wrexham.

Tried to find my other post for a quote, can't find it!

As I said there though - Crusaders to hit the skids, another team booted out of SL and us and Leigh to go up! Wink

Do you possess documentary evidence to back that statement up ? If not you may wish to be careful with the assertions you make on an open forum.

All Welsh union players will basically now use Crusaders to get a better deal in union, e.g. Andy Powell.

If this was true wouldn't it be shown in the recent accounts issued by the RFL? Didn't someone say they have to declare salaries they pay if they are over £200k and that is how we know that the Michelin man impersonator is on £204k.

Switching codes might be the solution to a few issues that appear to be coming to the fore at the club, yet again.

Wrexham terminate chief Paul Retout's contract

Wrexham have terminated the contract of chief executive Paul Retout and his role with Crusaders rugby league club is "under review".

Retout's directorship of Wrexham Village Ltd, the company overseeing the development of the Racecourse, has also come to an end.

Super League club the Crusaders share the Racecourse with Blue Square Bet Premier club Wrexham.

A Crusaders spokesman confirmed Retout's position is being looked at.
