Certainly knows which side his bread is buttered!
What do all the LUHG fans make of this then?  Grin

Personally I think that anyone criticising their boss, especially in public, is always going to get in trouble. So its not a case of knowing which side his bread is buttered--its just common sense.

However all the financial analysts seem to think that the Glazers are not good for United but Sir Alex can only comment on his experiences and he is not the type of bloke who will make comments like this unless he is mellowing with age--and I doubt that!!!

I dont think the Green and Gold supporters will change their opinion but as long as the protest is done in the manner of wearing those colours and not by abuse at games then the negativity will be kept to a minimum.

Would have loved the Glazers to have changed the home kit of Utd to green and yellow this season. Cheesy

Not home kit, but if I was a Glazer I would definitely have changed the away kit to green and yellow to derail the opposition to them.

Fergie is a football manager and has done well to stick to it despite the many opportunities he has had to Wade into the ownership debate.
I'm sure that inside he would love to grab the weasley scrotes by the throat really Grin

I don't think they have released the away kit yet have they? So could still happen  Cheesy

The away Goalkeeper shirt is purple, would look smart with a green and yellow strip in front of it.

G&G died off after about 3-4 games anyway. I mean, FFS there were people walking out of the megawhore (store) with two bag fulls yet wearing a Green and gold scarf. The whole thing had the chance to be really influential and so on, but the actual reality is, all it did was to highlight our cause a bit more and gain some quality publicity for the anti Gimp movement.

I have to be honest, I am still a ST holder at United, did strongly consider giving up but was just too hard in the end. I'd be stepping away from something I hold extremely close to heart and without United, I'd probably be quite miserable. Although FC rank pretty highly up there for moi! But as much as that is a release and a throwback, in the name of United, I suppose it still isn't MUFC as I know and love.

I for one, am made up about the 4,000 or so season tickets not renewed BUT as I have always maintained the demand will always outweight the supply. SO eventually, not sure as of when those will be snapped up. A lot of people have mis-conceptions about a lot of the protest. As much as 'not renewing ST's and memberships and LMTB's etc would have the desired effect, it wasn't about 'that'.  But this is the only way there would be any major shake up. United DO need investment, but no doubt Gergal will claim there is 'just no market'. FWIW our Mexicano boy looks the part, he plays for both teams at the weekend apparently. Part of the deal etc.

Good piece from Brian Kidd today with regard to Citeh having to win stuff before can be deemed 'equal' to United! Cool
