We have to get past Batley who have Whitehaven away and Halifax on the last day of the season when Halifax may well have nothing to play for.

They have Fev too who might well start resting players as 1st is pretty much gauranteed now.

At this point I would say we have to win 3 out of the last 4.

As long as we put in maximum  effort and commitment, that's all we can expect and hope for. It would be nice if we cut out the 'dumb' football as well. This more than anything frustrates and exasperates fans. Me in particular!For example;
Can we not let the ball bounce out of play from a kick-off.  We have done this once per game over the last six or seven matches?
Can we not kick down field and find, with an alarming degree of accuracy, the opposition wingers or full -back on the full?
Can we kick a 40-20?
Can we make some decent distance when kicking penalties into touch?
Can we kick penalties into touch instead of just taking a quick tap and making little if any ground?
Can we pass the ball out wide - why sign Ainscough and Marsh and then play one-man rugby up the middle?
Can we take two points when told to by our coaching staff?
Can we not give penalties away at the play the ball on the fourth and fifth tackles?
Can we not fumble the ball at the play the ball on the first or second tackle when we have made a rare venture into the poosition 20 metre area?
Can we force a drop-out from a kick over our opponents goal line instead of the ball being 'over hit' so hard that it would end up in Lowerhouse Lane or Stewards Avenue if not for the advertising hoardings?
Can our scrum half make a break up the middle or make a defence splitting pass that sends someone racing through a gap?
Can players carry the ball close to their chest, and not one handed in a waving arm fashion when running it out from our own line, thus making it easy to dislodge and giving possession to our opponents in our 20 metre area?
I'm not asking for much, am I? And in case you're wandering, yes I do enjoy each and every game I attend. I've just become a little disappointed with these regular occurences which our coaching staff and/or players seem unable to address.

i thought we would beat sheff at home and keighley away but after seeing that sheff won at fev today i am very very worried. we need some big performances! hopefully the team can pull together for Cullen and put in 100% effort for the remaining games
