isnt appleton garage the one in 'appleton village' I go to ted murphys, no reason apart from thats where the car was tested when I bought it and they have always done a fair job. |

Sorry I meant to say Farnworth Garage. He took over Essex Garage just past the Griffin Pub and moved to Liverpool Road. It is called Glynn Andrews but I have always called it Farnworth Garage. The same mechanic has worked there for donkeys years. |

what a strange question, doesn't matter where you take it if its gonna fail it will fail true, possibly but there was a stage where {some} garages would fail a car just to get work out of it, not that anyone would do that nowadays |
