....... was, I'm told, a youth team coach at Widnes in the late '60s & '70s.

I have been contacted by a former teaching colleague of Mike's who is trying to contact him regarding a re-union of students attending St. Mary's College, Twickenham from 1960 - 1963. It is thought that Mike may have taught at Wade Deacon School.

Please 'pm' me if you have any information about Mike's current wherabouts or contact details.

Yes he was definately a teacher at Fisher-More. Not The Wad. I think he used live near The Wad though. I'm sure he lived on the street that leads you down to Widnes Station. His Niece used to be in our group of friends when I was a kid in Appleton Village & I'm sure we went around to his house a couple of times on errands.

I taught with Mike Ryan at Fisher More for a short time in 1960. Nice guy.

Mission accomplished. Mike successfully put in contact with his former colleague today.

Thanks again for the leads.
