I said to my girl-friend the other day - "Widnes have got Toulouse away next week-end." "Why don't Swinton go anywhere like that?" was her indignant reply! Whilst you mob are swanning about in the South of France, we've got the joys of............................ A visit to 'Ornits! Bon voyage mes amis! Spelly.

My girl-friend looked me in the eye, and asked "Do you love me, more than you love Swinton?" I replied "If I said yes, would you believe me?"

Walk round aimlesly looking for a 'free bus' for an hour then grab a cap last min Apparently the ground this year isn't far from centre and plenty of tubes etc so big group meeting somewhere would find it easy!

The ground is just around the corner from the tube station. Last year, there were coaches to take us from there to Blagnac RU, where the game was played.

I vividly recall a big group of Widnes fans jumping the barriers at the underground station on the way back. My mate tried it, got clocked and panicked like mad, needless to say nothing happened but the look on his face was spectacular.

Hopefully the people on the Carcassonne flight will be wearing Widnes gear - 20,000 feet with a Widnes chant
