There are four more up and coming South Wales Scorpions stars who could make their first appearance - Andrew Gay, Joe Burke, Lewis Reece and Steve Parry - while Leigh East's new signing Owain Brown, who was a stand-out performer for Wales Students in their recent home nations campaign, has also been selected. Brown has been studying at Glyndwr University, next door to Crusaders' ground in Wrexham that host Wales' first match, a friendly against Italy on Sunday 3rd October (2pm).


Im pretty sure it is him AB, im sure one of the Simmies lads will confirm this later on.

Good to see ex HFH player Matt Barron in the side, shame his brother (also ex HFH) Garreth isn't include, good player and great lad.

Yes, this is THE Owain Brown - ex-Simms Cross and now Leigh East.  Great accolade for Owain, well done mate!

Yes indeed it is the Big Welsh sheep lover.....I was talkin to him the other night when he got the call, he is chuffed to bits and rightly so.
