Wigan Warriors young prop Ben Davies has been named in the Wales Rugby League 48-man training squad for their Alitalia European Cup games against Scotland, Ireland and France and their full international friendly and under 23 matches against Italy. All five matches are in October.

Davies who has figured three times off the bench for the Warriors in 2010 has also impressed on a dual registration with the Widnes Vikings.

Congratulations to the lad.. Can't be hard getting in the welsh squad but he does deserve an international call-up after this season Smiley
