If we beat toulouse then we would be level on games with batley and toulouse and be in 6th ahead of them. Batley have to play featherstone, and sheffield will have to play halifax. If those results go our way and we beat sheffield, we could go 5th!

I dont think we can dare to dream, last time it didnt work.  To Live the Dream is what we want, although to live it we need to do more than dare!

We really do have this negative attitude of late.  Were not talking about winning the challenge cup here!  We need to beat 2 mid table championship 1 sides!  Why no chance sir?

Looking at the league tables, it is entirely possible on current form, that Barrow could win their games in hand andovertake Leigh. If this happens and Leigh finish 4th, all we need is a good run, a 5th place finish and we have the enticing prospect of a playoff against the Centurions with the prize being an end to Leighs GF hopes. I know it is a scenario full of iffs and buts, but it is a real possibility. How good would that feel, going to their patch and knocking them out Huh

The negative attitude of many fans is understandable given the series of poor on-field performances.  The 2nd half against Leigh recently has to rank as about the most depressing Widnes performance I've ever seen.  I can't see us winning another game this season - I hope I'm wrong and would like nothing more than to see us destroy Leigh's play-off hopes, but I just can't see it.

I think we all know we have a squad capable of winning ALL our remaining matches. The problem is they have trouble turning that capability into consistent performances!

I am hoping for wins today and Thursday and our world will look considerably better.  But we know our kicking game is about as good as Georgie Nicholls' (one for the older fan!) used to be so we will have to be on top of the rest of our game' particularly as far as needless penalties are concerned and also hope that Thackeray has a purple patch after being stood down.

Do we have Davies btw?
