It depends where the impact was, the Cas player was lucky that it was a tougher part of the skull.

Burgess has broke his jaw in 2 places and has an op today. Out for the season, gutted for the lad with the cup round the corner.

After looking at the challenege again, it's a really bad one from the Cas players point of view.  Not from a malice point of view, that isn't in doubt that there wasn't any, but from a technique point of view, I thought it was very poor.

I thought the tackle was a shocker - no attempt to tackle, just an assault with the shouder/head to his jaw???

I thought u had to attempt to "wrap" ur arms around the person your tackling?Huh Could set a very DANGEROUS president if it goes unpunished....

and only a RL player could have his jaw destroyed like that and not only laugh and joke about it but stop to take a picture of it  Smiley Wish the lad a speedy recovery though
