why get behind them what type of signal does this put out to to other players if he is being paid more money than them all just to play if he did not want the contract offered to him to stay surely then his is heart is not in it for the long run personally i would let him go no matter how good he is if he is not willing to play for the same money as everyone else they should get players in who will bust a gut for the shirt and not stay for the right money. i personally think its a bad idea and could backfire with other players boycotting the club as not being on the same money as thacks.
Ridiculous.

The fact that he hasn't left to go to a SL club already shows he wants to stay. As for the wages part I doubt if Keiron Cunningham and Chris Dean are on the same wage at Saints, but you don't hear them boycotting the team.

Well I hope it's because he feels a tad embarrassed!

It's one thing a supporters group using collected funds to sign a player, but having weekly donations for his pay just seems wrong.

Our club isn't skint, they just don't want to pay him what he wants - so is it right for the fans to interfere in this way? I'm not sure.

That what i thought as felt embarrassed when looked at him.I just wished him luck and i think he likes widnes but has been offered more money elsewhere. It is a short career and i do not blame him to be honest, as long as not taking the mickey. He seems geniuine and if did not want to stay he not be at the shop. Are you really as stupid as your posts on here would leave us to believe? Do you think Thackeray should be on the same money as Gardner? Are you one of the 13 year olds with a beard?
