Four new promises and a "maybe" so far - not a bad start.

Jason and Joanne Shaw from VIQI and Anthony himself will be making themselves available in order to help recruit new members.  Having taken into account current funds and membership numbers the scheme would need to sign up a significant amount of new members in order to put the deal forward to the club. Obviously this needs to happen in a very short space of time, so we are asking anyone with a minimum of £1 to spare each week to come along and sign up to make this deal happen. There is no limitation to the number of times you can sign up for the scheme

S O'c signs up to the scheme and pledges £XXX per week for 12 months , the club can then keep the SL vultures at bay buy giving Thacks an equivalent pay deal and they can review his terms and conditions in 12 months, onnce in SL, and it wont even affect next years salary cap !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have people stopped to think or asked the club if they want to keep Thacks
From what TOC said in the League Express a week last Monday the Club clearly want to keep him.

Well done to VIQI for this initiative.

I have never been part of VIQI but i will sign up to keep Thacks. It is a MUST we keep him and I believe he should be our stand off in SL with an experienced NRL scrum half.

so what exactly was the problem with his contract offer?   Undecided

I will sign up for this when I am next over at the Shop.
Well done VIQI.

we are going to Barrow on Alan Raes coach armed with my bank details and a pledge for £2/week. AT is the future of WV and English RL, a young, talented English half back, why should we need to look elsewhere? We have to keep these sort of players at whatever cost and if that means me dipping into my pocket to help then sign me up, it's our club.
Too many times we have said why have they sold him or him? now we actually have a chance to keep a player at the club so lets see if we can achieve it together!

I've contributed from the start of VIQI,i was drawn out of the hat and handed the first cheque to the club on the pitch to help keep Martin Crompton at the club. This scheme has helped the club in so many ways over the years so congratulations to Jason and Joanne for running it.Lets hope more people get involved in the next few weeks to make VIQI bigger and stronger.
