The RFL are meeting tonight accordinbg to Eddie, whats the betting they are sorting out the best way to bail them out right now. Huh

The bail out will have been agreed from day one, all this meeting will be is to sort out what bull they'll come up with to try and hide it this time! Some Quins fans seem to think Lennegan & Hughes will get their money back and a new owner will come in  Roll Eyes considering no-one has come in to buy IL shares in 2 years i'd be suprised that someone new has come in and paid everyone off!

According to the Sporting Life website it looks as though it has been sorted and Quins will continue.

quote from the sporting life.

Quote
The Rugby Football League are thought to have helped Quins secure new investment to ease the financial burden on Hughes, who has ploughed millions of pounds into the club since the departure of Richard Branson despite being a minority shareholder.

so once again - and weather directly or indirectly the rfl bail 'em out. it was out of order the first time and just as bad now. i thought clubs were supposed to be run as a business, live within the means of the business and pay the bills etc etc. but the quims seem to have lived knowing that has/will be a safety net at the end, can we afford this player or that player - don't worry it'll be alright  Wink sort of thing.  if you or i were to run a business do you thin the banks would be as sympathetic to us and look for investment in us? i doubt it that much.
