Great fight back by Sheff tho its gotta be said.  Showed some real character.  I have never believed all this 'Widnes are defo in, we cant be refused' but after that result tonight I really now am starting to think its ours

I'd have said Leigh were our only credible rivals.

If it wasn't certain before tonight, it certainly is now.

Unless of course, Toulouse are going to pull a cat out the bag, but I cant see the RFL going down that road.

If it wasnt such a dog eat dog race i would be dissapointed that Leigh cant apply for SL, I think they along with us deserve to be up there the way they have plugged away since the inception of SL and stuck at it and they take a good following away from home.

Well this is now the major problem.

Why would you go and watch Leigh next season? How are they going to sell season tickets? Basically now, they know they're stuck where they are for four seasons - 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, with no chance of progressing.

The problem is, as I've said before, is that there are clubs that are stuck between being too "ambitious" to settle for Division 1, like say Batley, but haven't quite got in to SL, whether that be because there isnt enough room or because they are missing something.

They've spent the past week calling Widnes arroant and O'Connor a liar whilst saying their last two seasons have 'at least matched' ours... couldn't of happened to a nicer club... SEE YA  Cheesy

The plot thickens, although to be fair to Leigh they were relegated last season (almost) with the exception of Gateshead what a come back from that?
