According to their board planning permission for the access roads to the 'new ground' have been rejected and can't be re issued for 6 months... that's them out then!

On the Wakey Official Website it says that the Planning Meeting is 22nd October.

That's for the ground itself, but how do you get in with no access roads to it! Also likely to go against them in main stadium hearing. At the end of the day you want all teams to have the best facilities possible... Just after 2012  Grin

Just been reading more on their board and even if they get the nod on 22nd that's online outline permission and then they can apply for full planning permission in late November that will then take a few weeks for all to be sorted... they have no chance! Look how long it's took Saints to get where they are & Salford and both of them have had planning permission for donkey's... they really our just kidding themselves!

P.S. On a side note a few people would like some sort of club rep on here answering questions but after seeing the guy from Wakefield dominating their RFL fans forum thank god we don't! Surely their is only so much posistive spin any fan couls possibly take on every little aspect? According to this guy, knock back from highway agencies doesn't matter, HMRC wind up's dont matter, Chairman in IVA doesn't matter and everything is fine? WTF! Never mind the fact he locks any thread he doesn't agree with or is viewd as 'negative' we'd only have about one left on here Cheesy

They seem to thing the day planning permission is granted is the day the diggers move in (still unsure how they plan to turn a playing field into a multi purpose stadium within 60 weeks). But we shall see I guess!
