Just been told by a friend in Australia that a banner was in existence at the Canberra Raiders ground, making a point about their club's failure to persuade Willy Mason to sign for them. Remember, the Raiders' captain is called Alan Tongue. Who Needs A Big Willy, When We've Got A Tongue? Pretty funny, I thought!

When we beat Hull KR at Wembley in the Challenge Cup Final of 1981 there was this banner in the Widnes end:
WIDNES HAVE ONE BURKE, HULL KR HAVE 13
