Could somebody explain this to me please?

I don't understand why they can choose at all...........why don't they just have it like our play offs which is straight forward?

I hope our lodgers for next season get turned over by a classy Huddersfield. It would make a nice change to see a different team in the GF rather than the usual rabble.

I think its a good system makes it interesting, Surely they would of been better playing Wigan at home than the final though.  Wrong choice in my opinion :p

Can't see any coach ever not picking the lower placed club. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of pact between the coaches that they ensure this happens.

Yup! Wouldn't suprise me if Ant & Dec present next years too! Fair play to Saints they said from day one it's daft and would simply pick lowest ranked club. Obvioulsy they had to put on a show for the RFL & SKY though :/

Makes me laugh people saying they bottled picking Wigan and have ruined what would be a true tribute to Knowsley Roads legacy... here's me thinking they'd go for the best option for St Helens RLFC?
