I think thats a bit out of order.
I know they swapped shirts, but I don't think Hicks would have done so if he had known it would end up on ebay!

That is out of order. If he didn't want it he should have given it back to Hicks or gave it to a charity for them to auction for funds.

How do you know that he isn't giving the money raised to charity?

You're right, we don't, but................. I would suggest (although I admit I can't prove it) that if it'd been advertised as "-------------- and all the proceeds will go to the ************* charity -----------------" it'd have raised a lot more! Spelly.

I was playing 'devils advocate' by the way. There's not a chance that he will be giving it to charity!

I saw a Saints fan whinging saying that Leeds give their players training kit to sell on e-bay in order to gain extra cash (i.e. getting around the cap). I don't know if this was the norm but they all had special eddition Wembley training kit (& lots of it) and within day's nearly every players stuff ended up on e-bay going for at least a ton a pop!

You would have to have a lot of sympathy for soemone who got a hat trick and swapped the shirt and then found the other fella was selling it.....unless that hat trick scorer playd for.....and then it would be at least quite funny

Can you seriously see Hetherington popping over to Aus offering Buderus his contract....? "Well Danny we can offer you £100k a year, and we will also top that up with some extra boots, and training tops you should get a couple of grand on ebay....."
