Apparently,Wakefield are expected to enter administration on Monday Undecided

They'll have to! Winding up order wed / thursday and if that happened EVERYONE'S contract would be null & void as the club in that sense would cease to exist! At least admin put's a hault on things for the time being!

There are interviews with the Wakey CEO and some fans on the BBC website.

They are part of an hour long programme broadcast on Radio Leeds  last Thursday about the Wakey situation.

I seen a press release from the wakey board regarding articles in the rugby papers. They reckon they are incorrect and are speaking to their legal team regarding them, and they may take them to court or something like that, cant remember where i seen it but i'm sure it was on wakey site aswell, think you just have to search wakey site for latest news and it should be there then

I think this was in relation to stories about Richardson moving the ground to his own company and selling to & from there. Though propert list does show it doesn't belong to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats RLFC so their response was very vague!

But this is a club that asked fans for 500k yet have refused to answer how much debt they have that needs paying  Roll Eyes

Does seem the general consensus. They have a winding up order on Wednesday I think which they just can't pay so need to enter admin before that so can stave of liquidation... as Crusaders did!

"There is a new stadium in the offing which allows the club to battle against the issues it has had during the last 12 years of Super League.

"There is an interim period of hard work to be put in to fight against the Super League licence and the issues that come with playing in a 130-year-old stadium, but at the end of that there is the rainbow of a new stadium that allows you to trade and be sustainable."

I see their Court Case has been put back, with four men on White Horses ready to save the Club.

More to the point will all the eleventh hour stress sit well with the RFL?

Can't do our image any good when most of our national headlines seem to be about 'winding up orders'  or 'HMRC not happy' .

A good news story would be a change from a 'well-run' club.

In all honesty, with the shake-up of Championship rugby Wakey could be better placed to drop down  and re-group.  If they could hang onto John Kear they would do very well.
