Can anyone find out what was Mick's final pro match?

I have it in my head it was the 3rd test in Sydney of the 1984 Ashes series. I don't think he went on to the NZ leg of the tour after, but I could be wrong.

Any ideas, I can't find a link for GB line ups on t'web?

Aug 5th 1984 Papua New Guinea 20-38 GB

Mick played loose forward and I think this was his final pro game.

his last game for Widnes was wembley 84.  Then went on the tour down under before full retirement, then emigrating to Australia.

Finished at the top!

Just to be clear, when I said "He retired from International RL in 1982." I was referring to Stanley Gene, not Mick Adams.

And it was intended as a joke anyway  Grin

Bumped into Mick Sunday night, true what they say about him, an absolute gentleman. I have never met him before but he took time out to speak to me and my wife, he made my night. Mick has lived in Australia for the last 27 years,  got the Aussie accent aswell. He confirmed to me that his last ever game was for Great Britain on tour in 1984....
