There is an article to be in tomorrow's north wales daily post as to some of the conditions which have enable the Crusaders to come out of admin.

Effectively the football ground, won back from property developers following 2 years of struggle and a successful high court case has been used as a charge for the loan from the RFL to enable the Crusaders to survive.

The details of the actual papers on the Red Passion website as below, and as you can see from the 18 odd pages already the level of anger is rising at the way the football club is being used to enable the Crusaders to survive.

In all honesty though, could you really see the RFL having the balls to call in that loan if things go womanly-curves up for Crusaders?
I very much doubt it, looks like they just want to be seen to be doing the right thing, and how does that fit in with the previous thread about the owners wanting to transfer the ownership of the ground?

Awful, isn't it?  The Supporters Crusaders have now have a choice, -  either stick with the current owners, [whoever they are] or if they really love RL, go and support another club.

This point on that thread :
"Does anyone know of any decent rugby league forums this story can be added to? I know it won't really gain anything, but it'll make me feel better if fans of the likes of Widnes know that we're being shafted as much as they have been by the franchise. I'm sure a few clubs would be interested in knowing that the RFL have done so much to bail the Crusaders out."

Anyone a member to tell them we are on their side?
(WFC, not Crusaders)

On reflection do the Crusaders fans realise how many times we have been shafted?  They at least got support when Bridgend went belly up!

When I worked in North Wales there were quite a few Wrexham Supporters in my Office who used to follow the club even to away matches.  They have really been shafted as they now find that their ground is, in effect, mortgaged to the RFL.

I Think they would have to call the debt in to recoup some of the money they have poured into them over the last year or so. The RFL only made a tiny profit last year.. so really they need all the money they can get.

They have never recouped any of the money they have poured down the drain in London, I think this is just a token gesture to pacify the other clubs (obviously not Wakey)

There is a huge Twitter campaign about this. The bit I cannot get my head around is this.

As things stand, I understand, Wrexham FC own the ground. Both Wrexham FC and Crusaders RLFC are owned by Wrexham Village Ltd. The RFL have a charge on the ground because the owners of Wrexham FC have permitted it. But to have your prize asset stripped from you and then have to pay an annual lease seems to be not in the best interests of the company (ie Wrexham FC). Now my understanding is that a director must at all times act in the best interests of the company (not necessarily the owners). I think that has to be highly questionable.

As mentioned previously Wrexham FC are up for sale and by thus transfer they'll lose their main assett and be paying Wrexham Village for the privilege of playing at their own ground once they've been sold!

Oliver Holt makes mention of it in the Mirror today, only a small piece moaning about rugby clubs leeching off poor football clubs....

an interesting opinion provided today by the daily mirror football columnist oliver holt in relation to rugby teams both league and union occupying football stadia. He mentions sale sharks and london wasps and then states 'now crusaders appear to be making a desperate situation at wrexham worse with their occupation of the racecourse ground. What is it with rugby club owners and their fondness for leeching onto vulnerable football teams? These clubs are little more than bloodsuckers who should find their own grounds and leave football alone.'                                                   seems a strong opinion i was under the impression it was symbiotic relationship between some teams like at hull. And their is no mention of football teams occupying rugby stadia is that not been the case with blackburn reserves playing at leigh?

Some in football though seem to forget without Hull FC & Wigan Warriors their would of been no need for the KC & JJB Stadiums which in a short time led their pants footy sides to the Premiership due to better facilities & income (Inc sponsors) etc etc.
