With it being announced about playing the overseas all-stars, who would you pick for them?

Off the top of my head I'd go with something like:

1. Brett Hodgson
2. Pat Richards
3. Joel Monaghan
4. Matt King
5. Brent Webb
6. Thomas Leuluai
7. Brett Finch
8. Josh Perry
9. Micheal Monaghan
10. Jeff Lima
11. Ryan Hoffman
12. Sia Soliola
13. Tony Puletua

That team is much better than the england team

i'd expect all teams to be represented rather than just picking the best players, theres no way the top clubs would allow 3 or 4 of there aussie/nz players as well as a few englishmen.

Thats a good point I suppose, but there again there is going to be a break for the game, so they might let some of their top players go

Hull KR, Crusaders and Wigan could put out two teams between them - so much for SL, abolishing prromotion / relegation, etc, encouraging the development of young British players.

And it is a pity that many of them are playing for teams other than Wigan.

Not really. Don't want them to be hogging all the young talent from around this area!

I'm not sure it is to be honest.
Pat Richards plays for Ireland if you open the door to him you would have to open it the likes of Lee Briers.
Tommy Leulai will make the real Kiwi squad and I shouldn't imagine will play either.

I don't think you have to worry about opening it up to Lee Briers
