I was also thinking of doing a post on this myself. As I am not working anymore i thought i would go down the club myself and join in the festivities, but how does it work.
As I was in the Med last time they were announced (and recieved a text from a delighted Wiganer) i have no idea what happens. Do we assemble at the club house or outside. How do they announce it; by telephone or is it live on TV and of course the time as the origional poster asks is it mornnig, dinner time or late afternoon.
Is a Widnes top essential!!!!!

Don't think there'll be the same sort of announcement as the franchises, it's only one club getting the nod - it'll be a press release I imagine. |

Myself and a few other friends have taken the day off and are going to the club. Would be nice to know a time as its only just over 2 weeks away. This month doesnt half seem to be going slow.

With there only being one announcment. ie. they're only announcing which team from NFP will be given promotion, will it be announced on SSN?
It might just be me, but, if we get in, will anyone else begrudgingly "celebrate"?
I mean rather than say "YES!! We're in! Get in there you beauty!!" I'll probably feel more like saying "About time...its no more than we deserve!"
I suppose, it will be more a celebration of how far we've come since October 2007....remember those dark days of 2 former board members trying to gain control of the club. Goodness knows where we'd be now had SOC not come along.
