I am going for PLC or Benji Marshall.

Pity I won't be there to hear it first hand

I'd say the former is more likely out the two.

Not going to happen this year with the price freeze offer already happening. Maybe in 2013 though

My man in Melbourne says that Adam Blair has not signed a new deal with Storm. He has also had talks with SOC and TOC along with Thurston.

Whatever it is, signings aside, it has something to do with increasing attendances. "revolutionary" was the word used.

the term REVOLUTIONARY refers to something that has a major, sudden impact on society or on some aspect of human endeavour.
Ha ha ha

That to me says if widnes become the only ever rugby league team to be a PLC. sounds interesting to me and would make a massive impact to the club and would attract all sorts of business and individuals. widening fan base etc.

It's a bit surprising tbh, given we are still such a minute business in turnover terms. Even AIM lisitings, which I assume this would be, are darned expensive things and the market for our shares uncertain (would a pension fund BUY BUY BUY Widnes plc shares?) But certainly eye-catchingly ambitious if true. I was wondering if he's looking for a main board place with News International via RFL and BSkyB in due course?

The old, pre-merger Sheffield Eagles were floated (on AIM, I think) as Eagles Plc. It definitely wouldn't be a first.
