Yes or No.............on the back of the SL bid success and to mark potentially our last ever game there, do you think we can do it??

This is their chance to put right the embarrassment of two weeks ago. I think we will see a very different Widnes at LSV tomorrow night.

Your last visit to Leigh?  Huh  Don't bank on it mate!  Wink

I reckon you could go twice more this season!

The Challenge Cup is a possibility, but....................

You going there in the play-offs wouldn't surprise me at all!

Wouldn't we only have to go there if we fiished below them in the table? If so than all we need to do is finish above them and it could well be our last visit for a while until they are allowed back into SL in place of one of the failing heartland clubs.

They've embarrassed us a number of time during our time in the Championship. They've got a bit of the Stains/Dire hex over us particularly at their place. I can't remember us winning away to Leigh since we nilled them in 2007...

Still I'm ever the optimist so I'm going to vote yes, this is a game we MUST win for more reasons than one.

Of course we all know it but I'll say it anyway - getting into SL for 2012 hasn't changed the squad we have for 2011. I suspect the squad for this year had a strong suspicion that wew would get the franchise nod so in terms of their perspective not a lot (if anything) will have changed on the playing side. From what I've heard - if we play like we did in the first half last time then we are a chance. If we play like we did in the second half then we will (and deservedly so) get smahed ourselves).

Hopefully, at least for the time we are on the pitch, everyone will forget about SL and next season and concentrate on playing the best they can for the 80 minutes in front of them ....

And being a fan .... yes - we will smash them  Grin Grin Grin
