When you look at the 18 nils and what happend to Simmies you have to worry abot the amatuer game. Got be honest and say the standard has dropped in the last 3 or 4 years.

watched west bank 2nds against blackpool they had a few first team players, they where asking the reff to blow up early . they had a few carpet carriers who could not keep up with the speed of the game. They are not a 6th divison team, may be put them up to the 3rd or fourth next year, then again who knows what willl happen.

To be fair mate I think a lot of people are choosing to work instead of playing it's just the way things are with money these days. At the swan we will have atleast 3-5 players missing due to work commitments every week.

Have to disagree with you there rod. This is my 3rd season in div 2 and it has been the hardest no doubt (maybe its age catching up!) I know all at HFH were disappointed with our season, some of the players we have, we should have been a lot higher up the ladder than we are.

Maybe your right - Thinking mainly Prem where you used to have around 7 or decent teams and a couple making up the numbers. Big gap these days from say 4th downwards.

We will have an extra 5/6 players next season Gambo so hopefully we will be able to field 17 next season instead of going away some times with13/14 ...Just like to thank yourself and the rest of the lads that have had faith in the Swan and stuck it out this season when most around thought we would go under.
