Despite missing players through injury and suspension Widnes took a 16-0 lead into the break despite not having the ball as much as the visitors.

With 12 minutes to go it was 32-4 but understandably they tired against a much bigger team and let in points near the end.  This was a tremendous victory, as is any against Wire, but was a great team effort. Well done lads

Tries

Alex Brown 3
Kieran Butterworth
Chris Atkin
Harry Naughton

Goals

Danny Price 3
Jack Owen 1

Cheers for that John. A good result for the lads.

Have you got the full lineups ?

What's the score with Harry Naughton aswell ? Noticed he had been turning out for Wigan at the start of the season.

32 - 20  I read elsewhere.

15s and 16s both beaten I believe and reserves will still be ongoing.

Reserves 28 - 28.

Widnes down to 12 men 5 minutes before half time. York equalised with the last play of the game. Widnes missing Lunt, Gore, Kelly, Houghton

18s were very very good considering suspensions and injuries.

Gore is not having much luck with injuries and the academy still did well considering injuries.Noticed Brown got 3 tries and hopefully he gets a first team chance soon.

I heard that Grant Gore was on the bench tomorrow against the Skolars.

Pretty sure he will play tomorrow Ratboy. Likewise the others who missed reserves will be in the squad.
