The club could of made a double header of this game and play it at the stadium before the Hull game.

That would make too much sense.

11am kick off be better so can get back for the main game at the Stobart Stadium.I think Widnes are hoping to attract new fans from the area.

Enjoyed my double header today. 23s news only on this post though. The lads kept up their winning streak. Not a great performance. Some good rugby at times. Too many mistakes meant defence had to be good - and it was generally although two of their tries from scoots on the line.

Won 20 - 16

Team

J Youds
C Kinsey T
L Willings
G Scott
T Rigby
D Wakefield T
J Reid 2G
J Smith T
L Hudson
A Gerrard
T Kelly
J Crowley
L Thompson T
J Clarke
R Stokes
S Cummingham
E Davies

Liam Thompson try 16 mins converted J Reid 6-0
Danny Wakefield try 21 mins converted J Reid 12-0
Fev try 30 mins converted 12-6
HT
Jack Smith try 47 mins missed 16-6
Fev try 64 converted 16-12
Chris Kinsey try 74 mins missed 20-12
Fev try 77 mins missed  20-16
