Haven reserves are usually a big pack and when play them at haven are not the easiest team to beat, well in previous year this has been the case.
Well done to the team and coaches on the win :-D
Who next for them?

I think next year the reserves will be in a more competitive league which will help the development of Gore,Wakefield,Gerrard, kelly and others. Smiley

You are right to a degree.

I think they are as good if not better than the Wigan DR we currently have. Alex Gerrard is certainly better than Crosby. I watched them all last year playing 18's. Playing Championship reserves will not help their development, hammering teams like Whitehaven. Next year they will get 1 year at SL20's then the club will have to decide who to retain. They should be making the most of the opportunity we have this year knowing we have SL next year and not developing Wigan's future first team players.
Let's be honest we got a SL licence on the back of these lads so they deserve better than seeing DR players come in before them.

After watching the game on Thursday I thought exactly the same - for me Alex was the stand out player last year - I know people are raving about Craven,Hulme,Gilly and Jack and so they should IMHO Alex Gerrard was unbelieveable and must must have a big future ahead
