The last Wids game was on the 14th May against Fleetwood in the play-off final.

I don't know how the 18's ended, but the 15's & 16's got hammered by Wigan.

Under 16's were beaten 04 - 70.

It was awful, and it looks as though the 16's are in a Division too high. The Wigan lads were bigger, stronger, fitter, and faster than their Widnes counterparts.

I don't know the score of the 15's, but it was 50 odd, and we only scored single figures i think.

Academy won 48-26  (Scoreboard was wrong again!!)

Alex Brown scored a cracker of a try. Dec Hulme got a hat trick.  Chris Atkin had a hand in about 5 tries.

Whilst Wigan might claim that they had 5 players on international duty--Widnes were without Owens, Gilmore and Lawton.  Another great result.

The U23 won 54 - 22.    Tries, I think, from Wakefield, Kinsey, Scott (2), Gore, Houghton, Lunt, Gerrard (2),Willings and Goals 7/9 Jack Reid.

add to that the impressive Ball,Wainwright and Doolan not in the 17 man squad highlights how strong this bunch of players are. Well done guys just a pity they managed to make the scoreline a little closer in the remaining few minutes otherwise it would of been a real hammering Smiley

It was awful, and it looks as though the 16's are in a Division too high.

15s and 16s aren't in Divisions they just play 6 games.

18's were good and as already been said were missing 3 players who would have started had they been available.

18's were very good last year and there was a danger that this current group could not live up to that, however, they are doing really well despite key players being injured and recent performances are improving.

Alex Brown should get a first team spot this year.I thought the number 7 was half decent. Smiley Reserves game was very slow and not a great standard.

He must have gone close to making the England Academy team.
