That is very rue - and it depends on what the Coach requires you to do to fit in with the team plan.  An example is Varks - asked top play prop.  A much simpler objective than he had been used to - Result - a very reliable and effective player.

Even Billy Slater commented to an interviewer that they needed 'our plays to be much slicker'. In other words the team needs to work together better.  That is discounting the contribution that the stars like him make.

We might not have many stars next year but we could, and should, have a team that works well together.  Stars will emerge from that base but without that base stars will not be effective.

He scored a fantastic 90metre try vs Crusaders yesterday. (Did mess up a high bomb for a Crusaders try too)

also flew in off his wing leaving a huge gap for tony martin to stroll thru for a try
