Talk from my Family in Warrington is that Danny is Warrington bound, they will accommodate him part time till he finishes his degree, just makes me wonder why on earth we can't do that with Danny, somehow I can't a fitness problem with Danny even if he goes part time.

I'm with you totally on this one, we ought to be going out of our way to accommodate him as, amongst other things, it would demonstrate to other "younger" players with promise that we as a club will go out of our way to assist their academic future as well as their Rugby career.

If he does go to Wire, I can honestly see him murdering us in a few years.

Is there anyway that the club have looked at Briscoe, Gilmore, Gore, Owens and Craven and just thought these are better players then Hulme? Plus if SOC and PC are to be believed we are actively looking for a SuperLeage standard Scrum Half and Hooker. Not enough spots for a lad that won't even be around the club for the next year?

Just asking the question.

That would be even worse for him IMO Work/uni during the day, train with one team half the week, another team for the other half. Loan would have been a better option.

BUT we already have Craven and Owens who can play FB and will go FT. I think that might have been a factor in the decision on who to keep

But if he is playing out of position then surely it's a good enough reason for him to go on a dual reg on the proviso that he plays more game time at half back or hooker?

Unless I am missing something?  Huh
