I was at that game and the reason Cullen chased after Goodway was because Goodway stamped on him as he was walking off the field after the ref sent him off. Typical cowardlly Goodway - He used to run a mile everytime Tamati or Sorensen went near him.

Great fun to watch though - You realise what a nutcase Les Boyd was.

Cullen seemed to be lying on the ground, totally prone and out of things - then he suddenly jumped up and chased Goodway

He wouldn't have been faking his injury, would he?  Huh

goodway was a world class forward until 1985 at elland road in the bloodbath nz v gb when the old bill jumped in to break up a brawl. think kurt got sin binned twice in that game. recall goodway was left with a broken jaw... and became more hideaway than goodway from then on in.
