Coached that bad that they finished top of the league??  Oldham scored all over
the pitch, no amount of coaching during a game will stop players dropping off tackles Ratboy. On the day the players were not good enough, nothing to do with the coaching mate.
Still a good chance to sort themselves out and make it to the final.

If where top of the league they should not have got beat by that much. When players moved out of postion the coach should have shouted at them. Why the winger came inside too much to leave lots of space.Spend to much time laughing and joking on the touchline.

This is not kids rugby mate, these players are good enough to know when they are out of position. The game is all about players taking responsibilty for their actions on the pitch. Cant say ive seen many coaches shouting at players from the touchline, its not football mate. Constructive comments from mike wainwright when we conceded a try, not shouting at them. Cant say i noticed the coaches or subs laughing too  much tbh mate. The momentum swung in Oldhams favour just after we had taken the lead when jack smith tried to force out a pass when we were coming out of yardage. We knocked on and gifted Oldham the ball near to our line. They scored and got a roll on, a number of errors didnt help us either. It was an arm wrestle for supremacy until that point and unfortuantly we cracked first.

We lacked a few regulars and size tbh.  Oldham had a few 'old heads' that gave us a head ache - however we live to fight another day ! Grin

I checked through the Oldham squads listed on their website and although a couple were listed as 1st teamers, some were listed in their Reserves there were some that were not in either of the squads listed.   Now, whether these players were new to the club and the list had not been updated or were "ringers" who knows.    At least we have got another chance by beating Leigh on Saturday.
